January 2, 2017 - 9:45

TEHRAN – Iran's police chief has said that the forces under his command are fully prepared to fight any moves being made by thugs, anti-revolution gangs and Takfiri or Salafi groups at borders.
Hossein Ashtari made the remarks, reacting to the Friday armed conflict between the border guards and a group of thugs during which two border forces were killed in Taibad, South Khorasan, ISNA reported.
Ashtari was speaking in a meeting on Saturday evening with Hojjatoleslam Ali-Reza Ebadi, the Supreme Leader's representative in Birjand.
